well well, I neglect my personal blog and I don't really feel bad about it. he he. So lets see...what has been going on with me in the past 1.5 months? NOTHING! Okay, so I had surgery, am moving in a few weeks and have had sick kids. It has been a quick month and time is only going faster and faster!

I was finally able to have my gal bladder taken out on the 24th of Oct. It went well. I was not nervous except for a few minutes before, but then I woke up and it was done, so that was fun. I always think that's so strange that I went to sleep, they totally poked and took out a body part of mine and I just wake up and it's over. Thank goodness for modern medicine. Recover was good and not very painful. One week later, I stopped taking the pain meds and I'm fine. The only thing now, is that my liver is just plain out pissed that I messed with it and took its friend away! I am still feeling pretty yucky every day and have some nasty acid reflux stuff. I'm hoping my liver will deal with the change and I'll feel better soon. I'm so sick and I really mean, so SICK of feeling SICK all the time. 5+ months is quite enough time to feel sick. I'm done and over it by now!

So what else? WE ARE MOVING! I'm sure everyone has heard how excited I am. My favorite things about moving.....Being closer to family, having kids in their OWN rooms, having a YARD....oh my gosh, really! If you have ever talked to me, you KNOW I want a yard and we got it! It's a great big yard and now I just need a great big play set out there ;) Okay, I'll take the yard! We will our own office, so no more computer in the living room. It's just so nice to be moving forward...out of apartments, into a house! so nice. Two things I'm sad about moving...Tammy and Shay! I'm already far from them and I'm bummed that I'll only be further! They have become really good friends and I hate to move away from them!

So, I don't know, not much more going on. I started doing some fun craft things, I guess I can share here, after all this blog is about me and I enjoy crafts!

Christi gave Alan and I our first "house warming" gift and it was these wood letters with some cute paper to decorate. I decided to choose colors that would match a bit more with our livingroom stuff and did this myself. It wasn't hard and it turned out really cute, I actally made some for Alissa's new room (I'll post it tomorrow) and it turned out really cute!

And I wanted to make some garland for my Christmas Tree. We are moving at the end of Nov, just in time to decorate for Christmas. I went to JoANNS and they had 50% Christmas stuff, so I was able to get a few things that will be so cute in our new lving room and then I got some fabric at wal-mart. Holly had this on her tree a few years back and I thought it was really cute, so I gave it a try.

So ya, that's me being crafty! I love that I'll have a room to do stuff like this in when we move and if I wanted to paint something, I could go outside to our YARD! so fun!

Okay so skip a few hours and I'm headed to bed. I did some dishes, listened to my Ipod and my back is hurting.....night!

This past week, Tammy and I got the chance to go to Mexico with Shay and her family. Shay got married and we got the pleasure of photographing her wedding along with taking hundreds of other pictures while we were there. We had such a good time and It makes me realize that life is too short not to get out and do fun things and travel! I came home with 250+ images on my camera. Tammy sent me the ones she had of me on her camera, and Shay has HUNDREDS on her computer that I'll get later....but for now....Some of our trip to Mexico.

LOL, sorry guys! Nothing was wrong, I posted that picture and realized that it didn't fit and I wanted the whole thing to show, so I wanted to change the layout of my blog and make a new header (which i didn't get to). Then I just didn't get back to posting pictures lol. So the banner will have to wait, but I will post more Mexico pictures. I wanted to share some more, but I can't get the CD Shay gave me to work. Darn.

So here is the place we stayed. GORGEOUS btw! We were in that first building and it was litterally 20 steps to the ocean!

I also got to hold a monkey, but it wasn't as fun as just playing with that CUTE monkey from above! That little guy was so so cute. This little guy was cute, but the people didn't let me play...just hold for pictures

We went ealier to take pictures of Shay for her "trash the dress" session and as gorgeous as it was, we got eaten ALIVE by mosquitoes!

The only way to have those suckers NOT get me, was to get all the way in the water! So worth it though, I love water and this was gorgeous water!

Alrighty, update on me...

So ya know that I have had this weird sickness for the past 2 months. I finally called the doctor and talked my way into see Dr. Johnson. I have an apt for Sept 30th or something, but I didn't want to wait that long. He's a busy man, but I didn't want to go see his assistants or the other doctor there because they aren't my doctor! What I love about Dr. J is that he is so personable. I've been to doctors where they come in, stand, and leave just as soon as they come! Dr. J sat down, kicked back against the wall and spent about 30 minutes chatting with me! Anywho, the conclusion was that he thinks I have an infection of the lining of my stomach, which is called h pylori. I got some blood work done to test for that and a couple other things and now...well...I wait. So I'll keep updated on what it ends up being and when I'm feeling better!

I doubt anyone still comes here...I think I saw tumbleweed roll across the screen a second ago.

Life is good and busy right now. Alan has been busy with his new job and I have been busy with photography sessions. I love it, and here is why...

1. I get to "hide" behind my camera and when I do, I'm not thinking about my stomach hanging over, the way I look or feeling bad about anything. It's like I am invincible and in my own little world. No worries about weight, looks, etc..I'm watching and waiting for these cute kids to do cute things like this:

Which brings me to reason 2! I love to see these kids and the way they interact with their moms and dads. Dads are usually the ones being silly and making their kids laugh. It's just fun to see!

3. I like to meet new people. Who would have though, ey? I have always been shy and meeting new people used to scare me to death and now I look forward to it.

and 4...The other day I was dropping of pictures to a client and saw a collage of her grand daughter (that I have taken pictures of) up on her mantel. I love the idea that MY work, yes MY work is up in so many houses! When people walk into to my clients house, they see my work on their walls. Like I'm some kind of artist and they bought my work lol. It just sounds silly to me, but the bottom line is that it makes me feel good that I am an artist who creates timeless images for these people! It's fun!

I wanted to share some of my favorite images from some past sessions.  I know people  know that I "take pictures" but I'm sure no one sees my work or visits my photography blog often. So here is a big part of my life...my clients:

So that is that. Just a "few" images from my recent sessions. It's been a lot of fun to have steady sessions coming, but they have stopped lol. My next session is at the end of the month and so is two things I've been looking forward to: Park City and Lake Powell!! Both two places remind me of growing up. We went to both places almost every year so they have those "feel good" memories attached to them!

Next weekend we are going camping in Idaho. Camping isn't my favorite thing, but we are going with family, so that makes it fun.

Alissa turns FOUR...4!!! This Thursday! Has it really been 4 yrs since my baby girl was born?! gosh, time sure does fly!

Well that's it for now. Nothing too exciting ey? Life is just normal and we just keep on keeping on.

{had some time}

Well it's been a long time since I posted here, but it's 4am, I'm sick and have nothing better to do! So I'm running on about 7 hours of sleep from LAST night and a little tonight and I'm tired. I very well may ramble on about nothing lol.

to puke or not to puke? That is the question! anyone who knows me know that I have this horrible fear of throwing up. I can remember only two times in my life where I threw up. It really isn't that bad, and it makes you feel better, so why would I let myself be miserable for the past day if I could just puke and get it over with? I keep thinking about Alissa and how brave she is when she throws up. Yesterday while I was feeling particularally (sp?) sick I asked Alissa how she was so brave and she said "I just do this" (fallowed by her putting her head down and making a throw up sound). She's so brave! It doesn't phase her! She pukes, moves on and is better. So ya, enough about puke.

I cut my hair the other day. Well, I didn't cut it, I had it cut ;) but it's much different than anything I've had before. You can really tell, but it's the "shorter in the back, longer in the front" style. I also got bangs as you can see. Zach too the picture, thanks buddy!

I'm down to less than a week before my biggest loser challenge is over! and I can't believe it's been six months since we started! I look back and I'm so glad that I decided to put this together because if I hadn't had that kick start of motivation, I may be sitting here 38lbs heavier feeling like crap and saying to myself "I'll start tomorrow"...which of course never happens! I went from 193.8 lbs to (right now) about 156 lbs, but the most important thing (for me) is that I started exercising weekly! It feels good to know I'm doing something good for my body and heart!

My "busier" season in photography is coming up. And by "busier" I mean...a photo session more than once every few months! lol. I've got 2 scheduled, and two in the works to be scheduled for June. I like it!

Um, now I'm side tracked posting on my mommy board lol. and I'm tired. I just want to go to bed. I hate and I mean HATE the feeling of sleeping and then waking up feeling like you are going to puke (yeah, back to puke again). Right now I don't feel like puking, but I kind of know the feeling is coming again...darn...
